Suntech, as a leading solar photovoltaic manufacturer in the world, Suntech’s first project in Kazakhstan has been successfully connected to the grid and formally put into operation. Suntech successfully entered the energy market of Kazakhstan through cooperation with Goldbeck Solar GmbH, As the first major project for Suntech to access to the market of Kazakhstan, the Agadyr project has adopted over 150,000 pieces Suntech bifacial modules, with its aggregate capacity reaching up to 50MW.

In 2008, 612 pieces of Suntech solar modules were installed in the approximately 2,000-acre North Carolina Zoo, which accommodated over 250 animal species from Africa and North America, making it the world’s largest pedestrian zoo and the largest natural habitat zoo in the USA. The zoo has won nationwide recognition as one of the best zoos of the country, due to its commitment to the concept of “Natural Habitat”.

From 24 to 25 June, the 2nd NARES was held in Casablanca, Morocco. Experts and scholars from over 200 renewable energy source industries got together to concentrate on countries in North Africa like Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt. Together they discussed the update and prediction of the development of renewable energy sources in North Africa.

On June 5, 2019 (Beijing Time), the SNEC 13th (2019) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Exhibition & Conference was held in full swing. At this show, Suntech was awarded the certificate of honor of “Top Brand PV Seal” in Europe by the authority EuPD Research.

In the morning on June 4, 2019, SNEC 13th (2019) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition was launched in Shanghai New International Expo Center.Suntech displayed 8 types of module with advanced technology.

On June 4, Suntech signed a strategic cooperation agreement with ZeRun onsite at SNEC 2019. The two sides will first work together on ZeRun’s high-reliability conventional junction box program, and gradually expand their cooperation to technical validation and marketing of products. Mr. Chen Zepeng, General Manager of ZeRun and Mr. Zhang Wei, Vice President of Suntech attended the signing ceremony.

On June 4, 2019 (Beijing Time), the SNEC 13th (2019) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Exhibition & Conference was officially held. At this show, Suntech’s mono PERC half-cell module was granted the title of “Top Performer of 2019 PV Module Reliability Scorecard” by DNV-GL (PVEL LLC).

At 14:30, June 1 (Beijing Time), Suntech Global Customer Summit was held at Diamond Ballroom of the Westin Bund Center Shanghai. Focusing on frontier dynamics of the market, the Summit had attracted a large number of high-quality customers from more than 60 countries and regions, to discuss the brand and strategic planning of the photovoltaic industry.
