June 23, 2020 — A signing ceremony was held for cooperation between Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) and Asia Pacific Resources Development Investment Ltd (APRD). Suntech signed a cooperation agreement of upgrading factory and expanding high-efficiency module production capacity by 1.5GW.

On May 28, 2020, the ‘Top Performer of PVEL/ DNV·GL 2020 PV Module Reliability Scorecard’ webinar, jointly hosted by DNVL GL and PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), was successfully held. At this show, Suntech mono PERC half-cell modules were granted the title of “Top Performer”.

Recently, Suntech supplied 4.7MW high-efficiency anti-glaring PV modules to German Oberwesterwaldbahn PV power plant proximity to motorway connecting Elbtal and Dornburg. In April 2020, the power plant was fully on-grid and put into use with a total capacity of 10 MW.

On April 28 2020, the Setta PV Power Station in Pernambuco, Brazil was on-grid successfully. The project, constructed in the desert exposed to high temperature and fierce irradiation, all adopted Suntech high-efficiency polycrystalline modules.

On May 10, 365 PV released “Global Top 20 Companies on PV 2020” globally. Suntech was awarded “Global Top 20 Companies on PV 2020 (Integrated)”, “Chinese Top 20 Companies on PV 2020 (Integrated)” and “Top 20 Chinese Solar Panel Companies on PV Power Plants 2020”.

On 26th April, the 20th “World Intellectual Property Day” is set by World Intellectual Property Organization with the theme of “Innovating for a Green Future”. During 20 years of devotion to the R&D and production of solar modules, what has Suntech achieved in terms of intellectual property rights?

Recently, Suntech supplies 206kW high efficient polycrystalline PV modules to Sudan, shipments to global destinations totalling 100 countries.

Since last quarter of 2019, Suntech has supplied 10MW high-power PV modules to Yemen for the construction of PV pumping and irrigation system. In March 2020, the first group of the systems has been built and put into use.

On 28th February (local time), the “GO FOR THE GREEN 2020 conference” sponsored by Fortune Energy was held at Hilton San Gabriel Hotel, Los Angeles. Suntech was invited to give a speech.

Recently, Suntech was awarded the certificate of “Top Brand PV” seal by EuPD Research: an authoritative research institute recognized worldwide, marking that Suntech has been honored a leading solar brand in Europe for five consecutive years.
